What is Cathfolio?

Cathfolio is a personal procedure logbook and portfolio for interventional cardiologists. You log PCI and coronary angiography cases in seconds, build a structured record of your experience, and prepare certification documentation from it.

Is Cathfolio an official ESC/EAPCI or DGK product?

No. Cathfolio is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the ESC, EAPCI or DGK. It does not replace the official EAPCI e-Logbook or any official certification process.

Does Cathfolio guarantee certification?

No. Cathfolio helps you organize and document your cases against published requirements. Certification decisions are made solely by the certifying bodies.

Where are my procedure records stored?

Your procedure records are stored locally on your device, in your browser's storage. They are not uploaded to the Cathfolio license backend. Licence and payment metadata (such as your purchase email and licence status) is processed server-side to operate the license service.

Does Cathfolio store patient information?

No. The procedure form contains no fields for patient names, dates of birth or patient identifiers, and Cathfolio asks you not to enter patient-identifying information anywhere.

Can I use Cathfolio on several devices?

Yes. One personal Founding Member license supports up to 3 device activations. Use "Restore access" on each device with your purchase email.

Are my procedures synchronized between devices?

No. Procedure data stays local on each device and is not synchronized through a cloud service. Use the CSV export if you want to move your records manually.

What happens if I lose a device?

A lost or permanently damaged device still counts against your activations. If you run out because of a lost device, contact support — a one-time support replacement of a registered device is possible per license.

I already purchased Cathfolio. How do I restore access?

Open Restore access in the app settings, enter your purchase email and confirm the 6-digit verification code we send to it.

Is Founding Member a subscription?

No. Founding Member is a one-time purchase of €19.90. There is no recurring payment for the Founding Member entitlement.

Can I edit or delete a procedure?

Yes. Every logged procedure can be edited or permanently deleted from the procedure history at any time, on any plan.

What happens when I reach a DGK target?

The requirement card turns green with a checkmark and Cathfolio shows a one-time milestone notification. Reaching a numerical threshold is progress documentation — it does not by itself constitute DGK certification.

How does EAPCI preparation work if EAPCI does not define fixed minimum procedure numbers?

EAPCI evaluates training, skills and competencies rather than raw case counts. Cathfolio therefore shows your observed procedure exposure, checks your case window and logbook period, and tracks the administrative checklist — without inventing minimum numbers.
